Starting November 1, 2025, we’re rolling out a major upgrade to our transaction process: a 14-day buyer review period for every purchase made on the platform. 

This change is designed to make every sale more secure, protect both sides, and reinforce the trust that drives India’s growing music community. 

 What’s New 

From November 1 onward, whenever a beat or sound kit is purchased on Beat22: 

  • Buyers will get 14 days to review their files and ensure that everything is complete, high-quality, and exactly as described. 
  • During this period, payouts for that specific order will be temporarily held. 
  • Once the 14-day review window ends with no issues raised, your payout will automatically be released to your Beat22 wallet. 

This ensures that every transaction closes cleanly with full satisfaction on both ends. 

 Why This Matters 

This new system has been carefully built to protect your work while ensuring buyers feel confident purchasing from you.
Here’s what it means for every Beat22 seller: 

  • Reduced disputes and refund requests after payouts. 
  • Increased buyer trust and smoother communication. 
  • Protection for producers against false or late claims. 
  • Compliance with fair marketplace practices and refund laws. 

In short more transparency, more confidence, and more repeat buyers. 

Refund & Dispute Handling 

If a buyer raises a valid issue such as corrupted or inaccessible files, incorrect labeling, or a copyright/sample problem during the 14-day review window, here’s what happens: 

  1. The payout for that order will be temporarily held. 
  1. The Beat22 team will verify the claim based on all evidence provided. 
  1. We’ll work directly with you to resolve the issue before finalizing any refund or decision. 

Refunds will only be processed after proper validation, following Beat22’s Refund Policy and applicable laws. 

If no valid issue is raised, your earnings will automatically be released once the review period ends. 

 Important Notes for Sellers 

To maintain fairness and quality standards across the platform: 

  • Payouts are now linked to each order’s review completion. 
  • Uploading incomplete, mislabeled, or infringing content may result in refund deductions or account action. 
  • In case of a verified refund, gateway fees and refund amounts may be deducted from your balance. 
  • Sellers who repeatedly avoid issue resolution or file frivolous disputes risk suspension or restriction of their accounts. 

These measures ensure that Beat22 remains a safe and professional space for genuine creators.
